Your data matters
Privacy policies are difficult, most people just want something that’s easy to digest that gives them confidence that we are doing things right, but legally we need to provide you with a lot more detail. Hopefully our quick statements below give you all the assurance you need that we take privacy seriously if not click on any to find out even more.

To help us stay in touch we will ask you for the minimum amount of data we need to help us do this. This will include name, position you hold in the company and contact details (telephone number and email address usually).
Occasionally we will also purchase sales lead databases which might hold data about you, but be assured if you are not happy with being contacted by us its easy for you to get in touch with us and we will remove your details under your right to be erased never bothering you again.
If we are lucky enough to do business with you then we may need more personal or sensitive data from you about people attending the event if this is the case then we would need any allergies, or disabilities of those attending.

We don’t share your personal data with any of our suppliers or partners unless you are happy for us to do so. You can always ask us not to share information at any time by emailing privacy@venuedo.co.uk.
If we do share data then the supplier becomes the “data processor” and we will always ensure that they take the necessary precautions to handle your data responsibly but it will be their responsibility after the data has been transferred and they may have different policies about handling your data to ours.

We want to be able to stay in touch with you and offer you opportunities to engage with our business to by doing business, sending you offers or developing our relationship with you by sending you regular competitions. We have a legitimate interest but we will always ask for your consent regularly to make sure you are happy with this and make sure you can remove your consent easily at any time.
We prefer one to one conversations so we don’t use your data to make any automated decisions.

When we collect any personal data we make sure its stored securely and never knowingly put your data at risk. As soon as we no longer need your data we will delete this securely within 30 days and make sure that this is also removed from any backups or recycled bins.
If at any time you want to access, erase, or rectify any of the data we hold about you just email privacy@venuedo.co.uk and we will ensure you have access to these rights.
